The Modern Woman's Anthology launches!

The Modern Woman's Anthology, 2010 was launched by Thérèse Rein on 22 June 2010 at Customs House, Sydney to a packed-out event hosted by Wendy Harmer. Having designed the cover and brand identity for the publication, it was a delight to see our wares up in lights and the splashes of red in the hands of those quick to buy a copy (or five!) on the day. Visit the official website for your own copy of these delectable insights into what it means to be modern woman in today's world and be sure to check out the pics from the event here.

Welcome to the newbies...

We're super happy to announce that we recently welcomed some new faces to the team. Thembi caught our eye for her funky name, fabulous portfolio and keen eye for information design. She hails from bris-vegas and is already designing up a storm. James is our in-house developer with a penchant for extreme sports and hot chocolates (not to mention coding). We don't have any scary initiation stories to tell yet, but we'll be posting up some pics of our new and extended family soon.

Tapping into our fimonine side

When the Creative Industries Innovation Centre asked us to participate in MAKE IT, we jumped on board right away! The campaign challenged us to create an icon that represented our creative practice, using Fimo modelling clay. We moulded, shaped, sliced and thumbed a stylish set of miniature footwear which we're rather chuffed with (for a sneak peak check out our facebook page). Why the shoes? Our user-centred approach to design means we spend our days in other people's shoes...thankfully not this small in size!
