YouTube has officially launched an until recently top-secret project we had the pleasure of working with them on. Creator Music is YouTube Studio's newest feature that allows creators to explore and discover a growing catalog of high quality music that they can use for their content.
Our role was to design an image system and brand toolkit for the platform that would facilitate flexibility across an ever expanding library of genres and tracks. Our approach was to create a versatile expression spectrum and image suite that visually communicated the moods and sensations evoked when trying to find the perfect song to match content. Working in collaboration with Marie Dommenget, we art directed the creation of a distinct suite of 3D images to launch the brand, and created a brand system that will allow the platform to grow alongside its library of music.
